Best place to find river stage

Was looking for river stage at Red Wing today and couldnt find the info on walleye central, went to the repulican eagle and found what the stage is at 5.8. Can you still get through the back chanel or is the sand bar by the cabins a problem.

Be careful with their predictions when the river is rising as they almost always over estimate the rise and crest. I added that last one to my list.
