Infant Car Seats – need a place to donate

Is anyone aware of a place to donate infant car seats. I have two that I would love for someone to get some use out of. I know most places won’t take them because they “could” have been in an accident. However, I gotta believe there are places that are financially challenged and will consider them?

If not, they are going in the dumpster tomorrow morning I guess.

    Thanks!!

Yep, churches usually have someone who need items, food, clothing…

Nope, places like that can’t resell them apparently. They won’t take most of my kids toys either, that are in like new condition. I’m working the church angle now. I’m tired of moving them in my garage, but feel really bad just throwing away a few $100.00 worth of car seats.

Maybe you could throw an add on Craig’s list or something.

Been there, did that too. Not a single bite. I’ve got calls into a few churches, hopefully they know someone.

Wee took ours to an Amish family out by Tomah WI. They were all too happy to have them.

Don’t jinx yourself. The moment you get rid of them you will need another one. .

    Kooty,

Check with the department of public services. They gladly took ours and offered to give us receipts for taxes.

my friend and her sister own a second hand store and sell tons of those car seats. they dont make a million bucks on the things so it’s not like they will make a huge profit. I would check on some of those stores. they may even offer to give you a percentage of the sale as a consignment kind of thing.
    just a thought
