I have a friend who’s father died and she has a huge collection of lures, tackle boxes, reels, rods, pliars, stringers, creels, and just about anything you can think of for fishing. Many are not antiques but most of them are. I would like to know what is the best route to help her sell this to a good home. I only want to deal with sincere buyers and not scammers. I personally don’t know the value of the older items, but I know there are some good collectors out there that do.
What would you suggest I do to help this lady?

It is very hard to beat E-bay for selling collectables. It does require a commitment of time but I never cease to be amazed at what people will pay for goods on there.

I sold a lot of old fishing lures on ebay a couple of years ago. It does take time but had very good luck.
