One thing for sure is that I have the best group of friends a person could ask for! Thanks to you all! I had 2 CT scans and an MRI and a bone scan set for tomorrow. At first glance the Onco and Neuros think it is my kidney cancer making a return appearance. It is at the base of my cerebellum (Sp?) and is the size of a walnut or 3 cm. It appears to be encapsulated and not intertwined in the brain. On the face of it, that should be s good sign. We will know a lot more tomorrow. My phone is DEAD and it is home being charged. So if I don’t text or call you, don’t feel bad.

Thanks again for all the prayers!

I will be rooting for you Chris. This is a tough thing to deal with, but we all know you beat cancer once and you will fight this one as well.

    hi Chris,
I just opened an email from my club president with your IDO post.
    Very sorry to hear this.
Prayers WILL BE sent everyday, a positive attiude does go along way, but know some days will be tough.

my brother in law in Wichita has gone thru two brian cancer surgeries, and has done the chemo and radiation therapies, and all this in the last less than two years.
If you’d like to talk to him when you know more of what you are dealing with, I can easily get you two together in a phone call. It sounds like what you said you now know that you are in better shape and position than he was, and he is doing very good now. By the way, his name is Chris too.

Again Prayers sent, If you need absolutely anything, please DO CALL me, (even a breakfast some morning).

Thanks again for all the prayers and support! I go in tomorrow at 6:45 for a 1 hour MRI that will be used to guide the surgeons. Surgery is at 10 AM. It should take about 6 hrs. Hopefully we will be able to get updates out. I will be in ICU for 3 days and in the hospital for about 4 weeks for PT/OT.
So thanks again, and I hope to be back in the saddle again shortly! I will be monitoring IDO for most of my entertainment while imprisoned!

    Chris,
although I have no clue who you are, I do wish you the best of luck. I cant even begin to imagine what you are feeling or going through. I do want you to remember one thing through all of this:
Look at all the support you have from others that share your passion for fishing. we are a brotherhood and we do care about each other. We are strong together and power of positive thinking will get you/us through this!!
Please let us know when you are ready to fish again, one of us will be there to take you out!!!

    good luck!
