Been dating my girlfriend for 3 years now. We get along pretty good. She doesn’t join me in the boat much but we were out on Tuesday trolling for walleyes and she hooked into a big cat. It was fun watching her reel it in (pointing the rod directly at the cat…thank God for drag). But I just about crapped when I asked her if she wanted a pic and she said yeah. Then she proceeded to bare-knuckle this 15-20lb cat …. now I’m thinking marriage.

If she can clean fish and has her own boat, I’d recommend marriage.
You’ve got her going in the right direction. Buy her a fillet knife for her birthday and she how she does cleaning fish. If she passes the test, then think about a ring!

I agree with powerfred. If she at least will help clean fish . I’d keep her for sure. Those are the special ones.

C’mon! I thought they only complained about the smell in the garbage when the fish remains started to make themselves known.
