anyone else as tired of all this wind as I am, seems like its been 20mph+ with higher gusts for weeks now makes for some interesting boat control issues enough to make a guy

yea tell me about it. went down to the mighty mississippi by frontenac fishing today. got there at about 10am and it was a little windy and the river was a little rough. by 1pm there was 3+ foot waves. was a little scary when trying to get back to the ramp. didnt know if the 16′ lund rebel was gonna make it lol.

not to mention it is very dry and dusty out now from all the wind. sure hope we do get some rain tonight.

Tell me about it. Inland opener around here was a lesson in just trying to stay on the lakes let alone fish. I had to cancel this evening’s date night out with the wife on the river because of the wind. There’s a lot of fishing time left, but I want to get the party started.

I left 5 days ago to visit in W.Virginia and hoped it would have blown itself out. Nope!! Looks like a cool down in 3 or 4 Days.

I pray for a little wind every day since the black flies/buffalo gnats have shown themselves.
    Wind is good right now.

7:30 am and it’s already blowing like crazy. It feels like the winds of the Dakotas are taking over the Twin Cities.

I have a mountain of a brushpile I need to burn…. now that I can get a permit, the wind won’t quit…. not even for an hour Luckily, last sunday it died down for a half hour, so I could spray the lawn/dandelions quick…

Bunch of whiners, this is nothing. Reminds me of back home.

Talked to a buddy today, they are predicted to get gusts over 50mph most of the day in SD. I think we are all sick of the wind.

Talk about wind you should have seen what it did to a softball last night! Thank God I play Third! I felt bad for the boys in the outflied. But on the otherhand it was pretty funny to watch! The ball was moving all over the place!

I had a gust at noon…on my way home for a bite..road is just wet, from the rain, I am exiting 94 onto Hwy 15… a gust hits from the NW… I kid you not, the RAM 1500 slid about 3-4 inches, to the side…. I almost crapped my pants I have felt that before, but that was on Mille Lacs in the winter… not on a HWY at 65 MPH… I slowed down after that….
