    Hey Guys,
I am having a problem with my Shimano curado 200dhsv. when the level wind gets to the right side it is binding and making a clicking noise. I have taken it apart the most I can and still can’t see what is causing it to bind/click. Any help would be appreciated.

where do u live by? if you are by rochester call john walter at john’s tackle service 507-775-6406. he has very fast turn around on parts and is cheap. i’m sure he’ll be able to fix it. i had a problem with my anti-reverse and he fixed it for 10bucks in about 3 days

more than likely if its getting stuck in the corner there you chipped off a piece of the grove on the worm gear. if thats it is a pretty easy fix. sounds dumb but just try tightening the screw on the back of the level wind. somethen to try

Shimano’s customer service is second to none IMO.If you know what part is defective, give them a call. They have sent me numerous parts free of charge over the years.
