On 4/30/10 I turn the keys to one of the greatest vehicles I ever owned in. My 97 Chevy Blazer has been nothing but good to me and she still has a strong motor but seeing the odometer turn 1615XX to me means she is getting old and tired. We had a great run together and always made the haul towing loads the meet or darn near exceeded her capacity Tomorrow I turn the keys over and get my new to me ride with only 648XX she is just getting broke in and I am excited to show her the road. Bye bye Blazer Hello Z71

It’s tough to say goodbye to an old reliable friend…..to me, it’s just as tough to say to say hello to a new one…here’s to the new one being as reliable as the old one.

looks just like my truck that is sitting in my garage with no cylinder heads on it. at least new ones are getting picked up today.

here’s hoping to yours not having castech heads on it…

other then the above issue, i have 155k on my 2003 and it has been good for the most part. hopefully it goes as long as my last truck, which i traded in with 290k on it.

Nice looking ride. My jeep is in the shop right now and is also tired and from that era. Not in the cards for this year though.
