Plastic 55 gal. drum

Does anyone know where or have one that I can buy? Going to make a doghouse out of it. Thanks

ck a car dealer, usually get car wash soap in 55 gal plastic barrells, most likely will be “free” cant be that.

Chappy, PM me! I have a couple white 55 ones, a few smaller 35’s too. I was trying to get rid of these anyways, and you’re not far away at all. I’ve got a small utility trailer for the taking too!

Where there’s a will there’s a way.

I’d advise to use a white one to reflect the sunlight. Plastic barrels can get mighty hot in the summer unless set in the shade.

I emailed the company….They said always go Blue..White breaks down because of UV and to never use black. K9 Kondo is the name of the place.Come highly recommended.

What works great is to take a 30 gallon drum and put it inside a 55 gallon. Remove only part of the top of the 30 gallon to make a small hole for the dog to get in and out. Stuff insulation all around between the 30 and the 55. Then use straw for bedding in the 30 gallon drum. Dog will be cool all summer and toasty warm in the winter.

I’ll probably take it. Just not sure when I’ll get up that way with my own vehicle. Probably not till opener. Will be going thru Friday and Sunday this weekend, But I’ll be with 4 other guys with ones Enclave. Don’t think he’ll wanna put it in his SUV.
