Well, we took the kids down to Lake Argyle for the sectional tournament. First off ride there and spending the night in a hotel with 6 high school kids was a eye opener. Friday the 23rd was the tournament. It was a horrible day, they got 2 inches of rain and 25mph winds all day. I am very proud of the kids, on that kinda day they never gave up. Fishing was slow. We started at 8am and at 1130 we didn’t have a fish. Between 1130 and 300pm we had 5 keepers and finished 5th out of 20. Riverdale had 2 boats in the tournament and the second boat finished 7th. We didn’t qualify for state but we had a great time. And I think most important we introduced a group of kids to the sport, that may have never had the chance. I hope the kids will learn to enjoy the outdoors and now have a outlet that will keep them out of trouble. I know the other coach and myself are already looking forward to next year. GOOD JOB RAMS
