So, I went fishing tonight. Caught some nice walleyes. Went to leave and one of my best poles was stolen right out of my front seat. My nice G Loomis SJR783 GLX with a nice new Stradic on it. It just makes me sick to my stomach. I just got off the phone with the police and filed a report. I highly doubt I’ll ever see that pole again. Is society as a hole going right down the shitter? Or am I just in a sour mood? I somewhat blame myself, but I was only fishing 20 yards from my car and I didn’t even think to lock my doors.

I know the feeling. Someone stole 3 rods and reels outa by boat that was in my driveway. The part that pissed me off is they cut the draw stap on my Ranger cover to steal my rods!

I woulded jump to a conclusion about being kids that stole the gear! There is a lot of adults that have sticky fingers too.

I Had my tackle box/bag stole last year from the back of my truck. After it happened I’ve always fantasized about finding the bag and the guy holding it.

ya just last year me and my dad went down to the river to catch some nice eyes. A couple hours later we get ready and head to the car to find the passenger window broken. All we had in there was some fishing tackle we just bought but seriously? All for just some tackle… Also last year I had my GPS in my car and parked it right in the employee lot close to the warehouse. And 4 hours later my windows broken with no GPS. My lakemaster chip was in there…

I feel bad enough when I got the boat hooked on at the gas station and go in to pay for gas and have to stand in line for 5 minutes.

The worlds going to hell in a handbag. I got to work this morrning to see one of St. Louis Parks finest standing over a pile of broken glass. Some Jack hole broke into my bosses office and stole his 2 computers then broke the window to the other offices and stole another computer. I sure hope they catch these scumbags

There is no punishment for them when they are caught, nothing to fear = keeping everything you have locked up good for the rest of our lives. It sucks but at the same time I am not going to risk getting sued for beating some punk to a pulp.

I’ve said this before. If you are going to be a thief, at least take a little pride in your work.

I wont leave the boat anywhere unattended.Usually goes from the ramp to the storage shed without a stop.

Here’s my suggestion, you can take it for what it’s worth. Anything you have of value left “OUT OF YOUR SIGHT”the “BEST” way to get these ‘SCUMBAGS” is glue some GOOD SHARP TREBLE hooks on to your valubles. Then when the “sticky” fingered little creeps go to take what is not theirs……depening on how sharp your hooks are. you own them, for whatever punishment you decide, I myself would start by pulling their finger nails out “ONE BY ONE. Then feeding their nails to them , until they understand that stealing is “LOW LIFE”>>>>>>>>>>>
