Anyone work on/fix/tune golf carts??

    We have one at the camper. It started to act up this weekend. I’d be driving along just fine, and then it would idle-down and just putt along and then come to a stop and chug and chug….like it was flooded out or something?? If I took my foot off the gas and tried to go again, it was dead….like no battery. Wouldn’t even try to start! Then after a couple seconds I’d push the gas, and it took right off.

    Kind of confused b/c I thought maybe it was a gas issue (filter is less than a year old) but then the whole dead issue like no battery confused me…..but when it took right off again like nothing was wrong….really confused!

    Any advice or suggestions appreciated. It’s a 1994 Yamaha

    I have worked on few ,but not sure whats going on with yours , it kinda sound like an electrical issue to me . Hard to do a diagnostic over the net , sorry about the lack of helpful info.

    Last fall I told Adam to dump Mountain Dew down the gas tank to make it go fast

    HEY…..Thanks for giving Adam some fishing lures yesterday! He was fired up when he arrived at the lake last night!!! Dang weather!

    Adam has a good eye Jay, told him to pick a couple lures along with the jigs and plastics and what does he nab……two Rapala Husky Jerks
    Hope he gets blown up on that rubber fwawg too
