I thought a lighter post would be nice.
So, last night I see a commercial from a sub chain indicating they are now selling breakfast sandwiches. English muffins with your favorite goodies and of course egg. This morning I purchased one of said sandwiches. It looked like food BUT did not smell like food or taste like food. I was suprised I could even swallow that one and only bite. If there was vomit icon available on this site I would insert here. ( ) That is all. Carry on.

I thought their subs got better when they changed bread, but I’ll stay away from the muffin…:)

fwiw anyone remember the west and east lake Porky’s?
Used to spend more time than I should have wandering from one to another years back.

In a moment of nostalgia I had craving for their onion rings a couple days ago so the wife and I wandered over to the porky’s on University.

Good grief, what a change, if I was to rate that place with a 1-10, I’d be hard pressed to give them a one.

Burnt onion rings, over cooked and paper thin burgers, way to much salt and the fries and rings tasted like grease that hasn’t been changed in a month.

To bad, I used to enjoy eating at the two other restaurants, but not this one..

I had the KFC double down yesterday and it is pretty good, especially when you consider you are eliminating all those carbs from the bun.

That is a pretty bold move in my opinion by KFC to make a sandwich like that with everything going healthy these days… But I kind of want to try it, just to say I did.,,,

I am sure it is good. 2 pieces of cheese, 2 pieces of bacon bordered by two chunks of fried chicken. KFC won’t even publish the nutritional info on it. saving carbs yes but far from healthy.

I was at Fogo De Chao on Wednesday, after 3-4 pounds of wonderfully seasoned meat, I havent wanted to eat since.

I ate at Fogo in Chicago last summer and it was awesome food but I don’t think I have ever eaten so much before that or since. It was quite an experience walking past the homeless on the street on the way to and from the restaurant – what a guilty feeling

Thanks for the heads up Suzuki. I have been thinking about trying their breakfast but haven’t yet. Maybe I’ll rethink trying it unless I get real desperate some morning.

It was good to me! At one point, I broke into laughter at what an amazing experience it was. “Sure, another [4th or 5th] bacon wrapped filet mignon would be nice”.

Although the food was outstanding, it was mostly about the whole experience of guys walking around w/ massive hunks of meat on giant skewers carving table side and just loading up on different animal flesh until you cant eat anymore.

    PETA hell, my heaven.

I’ve been working on cutting some pounds lately. I finally cracked Jerred’s secret. Those sweet onion chicken terryaki sandwhiches are the Had one for lunch and very quickly lost several pounds. No wonder he lost so much weight.

You have a choice between Original Recipe AND grilled.

I should also says thanks for the heads up on the SW breakfast sammies. Panara makes very good breakfast sandwiches, but my favorite is the smoked salmon sandwich from Brueggers. Yeah, that are that good that I have them for breakfast.

How can you go to BW3s and not get traditional wings? Mango Habanero and Wild’s dipped in blue cheese for me.

I have to stop coming back into this thread. I am starving. Getting some Jerk Wings from Tailgator’s tonight. Yum!

If you want good wing you NEED to go to Serum’s in Anoka. Best ever.

I may have to go to Anoka one Wednesday when I hang out with the kid, instead of going to BW3. So is there hottest wings really hot? I hate when I go to a new place and order the hottest wings and they are tame. Like Hooters and even Tailgator’s hottest wings aren’t even hot.

Wait, weren’t we talking breakfast sammies?

    If I remember correctly: YES

You could also go to Billy’s right across the street, great place for the kiddies. I am there a few times a month, fantastic food. Chicken Wild Rice soup is unbelievable and their Philly is too die for
