Just got a call from a buddy of mine…someone brought 17 grays into his office to show him…the heads were about the size of your thumb (eaters). South facing hillside with some open areas. This is in the very eastern tip of Iowa anout 15 miles from the Mississippi.
Should be a two weeks or more before we peak here in Eau Claire area depending on the weather. Rain is needed now and we are getting some today

Just talked to a guy I work with…he found a gallon bowl of yellows last night on the way home from work…guess what he’s having for supper!
Their finding greys around here too as of 4 days ago plus rooster cones. Rooster cones are about the size of a baseball and are cream color with a tinge of red and tan, very delicate and they break easy in a bag with 5 or 6 in the bag but are good. In another week the yellows should be up good and the greys bigger in size.
found these yesterday. with all the rain and recent warm weather, they are popping early this year. 
Alright knock it off you southern boys, you’re starting to bug us northern boys!
