    Tuesday night starts the new season of Deadliest Catch….

    This year they will be without Captain Phil…

    Wonder how his boys will get along without him….

    I thought he passed midway through the season? Won’t he be on part of the season? It’ll be tough to watch either way. I’d sure like to see a special Captain Phil episode devoted to just him at the end of the season just showing his clips through the years.

    Sure enjoy watching that show. Its like man soap opera. Great stuff. Who would of ever thought 6 seasons of watching these guys catch crabs would be this entertaining.

    I got to meet Thom Beers, the executive producer, last spring. What a character!!! He greeted me with “How you doing f***er?”…It was priceless.

    His company produces Deadliest Catch, Monster Garage, Ice Road Truckers and many other shows…he pretty much put Discovery Network on the map and beyond just airing animal/nature programs.

    When he calls a staff meeting, he gets on the intercom and says, “F***ers get in here!!!” and his staff come running.

    Captain Phil will be on the King Crab episodes. He passed during the Opilio (2nd) season. Awesome show .
