Masters monetary value?

    I would guess if you win the Masters your appearance fee’s, sponsorship rates ect would go up. I get that much.

    But what would the value be to be a three time winner like Mickelson? Is he now worth that much more then yesterday when he was a two time winner? I understand the prestige, not alot of people can claim to be the Masters Champion.

    Considering that he had to endure years and years as the best golfer never to win a major, every one now is icing on the cake and distancing himself from that distinction.

    Three time Masters champ puts you in some serious company and really establishes a legacy in the history of the sport.

    Monetarily, he probably doesn’t move up the ladder much as he’s already about as popular as he can get. But if he were to add a US Open and another major, now he could push Tiger.

    Every time Tigers transgressions become news a good family man like Phil just gets more valuable to more and more sponsors.Many millions is the short answer.I just wish he would quit taking shots like 13 today…great to watch but 5 feet shorter and no green jacket! Its just part of being a Phil fan!
