Hey Guys, Almost time to wire up the new boat and I am by no means an expert. The first Image below is of how I thought the boat should be wired.

I am going to run a 4 switch panel, 1 for running lights, 1 for interior lights, 1 for livewell pump, 1 for livewell aerator. I will also use a fuse box to run other things such as the graph and gps that will not be on a switch.

Feel Free to help as much as you can, if my wiring idea looks crazy just tell me! The second image is a clean slate with no wires, it may give you a better idea without all the clutter. Feel free to draw the wires up on that and send it my way too if you’d like

Thanks again for all your help guys!

Great Job!! I think it looks pretty good. A couple things you may want to consider. 1.) You may want to consider a switch for your electronics. Depending on what locator/GPS you have the GPS will draw power if you do not have a master switch for it. 2.) You may want to pull an extra set of wires to the bow for adding electronics in the future. Good luck!!

I agree with Walleye I would put in a master switch to turn off all electronics and acessaries. My 182 Crestliner has one and it`s great hit one switch and I know every thing is shut down. I would add a 12 volt receptacle for spot lights or other things front and rear. I am not sure if you have power tilt and trim if you do I would add a switch that can be reached easily from where you sit and one up front.

I don’t see a bilge pump. Did you forget or leave it out on purpose? Be sure you have one. Rain can dump an incredible amount of water in your boat.

Other than that, looks good. Glad you are putting in the fuses.

Looks good just remember to use a good marine grade wire so you are not doing it again soon.
