http://www.m-ywedge.com/centerclips.htm these I;ve heard about, I have a wedge motor mount thats awesome, no experince with these.
I used those clips last year on my 1950 / 225 Yamaha. They’re nothing fancy but they work great. The motor stays dead center 100% of the time until you remove the clips.
+1 on the M-YWedge clips, they are definitely nothing fancy, but effective. Use them on my 225VMax HPDI. Never moves at all no matter how fast I hit speedbumps on my way to the water.
At $15 probably easier to order them, but I wonder if a couple sections of PVC or even garden hose wouldn’t work?
I made a set out of wood, but I have wing nuts that keep the sections together, kind of a pain.
