Trailer Lock keyed to truck

I was at the sport show and talked to a vendor who had a series of locks that you key to your truck lock. He had them for the receiver, the trailer coupler, the spare tire, and even a bike lock. You insert your vehicle key, rotate it 270 degrees and that sets the tumblers to your key, so now you only need one key for all the locks and the vehicle instead of 3-4 separate keys.

Sounded interesting, so I took a flyer and now that I want to check them out on-line, of course can’t find the flyer.

I think it was something like U-Lock, but haven’t found them on a wed search.

Anybody familiar with this product that can point me in the right direction?

    Thanks,

    Dave

While Slider is getting the name, we’ll be giving at least one of them away at the Sturgeon Excursion this year.

    Anything for less keys!

I don’t know the name either…but Tom at Wigwam has them. If all else fails give him a ringy ding.

hey maybe he was playing Hockey and someone was messing with the star, or maybe it was a bench clearing t-ball game, where the pitcher went after him. you never know.

Thanks Slider that looks like the company, although they gave the impression that all the locks were available. The website says the padlock is available now and the others are coming soon.

Has anyone used these? How do they hold up if they get submerged in the lake?

Hang in there with the school stuff, there is more fun to come. My son didn’t really connect with high school. The best call we got was that he was a stowaway on another groups field trip. He saw the bus out front and decided to get on and they didn’t realize he wasn’t in the class until underway, so he got a tour of the waste treatment plant and several sessions of detention upon his return.

Thanks again for the lock help,

    Dave

I know that is not the web-site that the vender was using at the show. I thought I had that one and might still, I will dig a little deeper for you.

Thanks again. This one has them all.

Gotta love this site. Ask a question and the answer is there. I think I’m going to start thinking up questions to ask just to see how good you guys are.
