Whats it worth. Lowrance 104C

Hey Guys. Got a guy who wants to sell a Lowrance 104C which is the original 10″ screen. Just wondering what anyone thinks it is worth? Is this a good unit? I might pick it up from him if the price is right. I have a one year old LCX 37C that is an 8″ that I love. Would I be down grading by using the new 10″ if I bought it from him. Thanks

That could be a tough one, 2 years ago, Cabelas and Reeds closed these out at $999. I checked Ebay, there’s a 110c head unit only, current bid is $405. I would guess the range is $500-$900???

Its a great sonar unit……GPS is still good but the 37 would be best for gps because of updates. the 104 hasn’t had an update in a long time, 08/31/2004 to be exact. So the gps will still work just won’t be as accurate as the newer 37c. Sonar is still top notch, may even be the same transducer as your 37. I wouldn’t pay over 750 for the combo…

Don’t throw good money at old technology.

I know quite a few people that think the 104c was the best 10″ screen made, so I wouldn’t shy away from it unless you wanted to network two units. I sold my 104c to upgrade and found out it wasn’t an upgrade at all. If you could get a 104c for less than $1000 I’d go for it. They might have been on sale for $999 at one time but they’re still worth that.
