Some joker at cabelas just tried to charge me 8 dollars to ship me 3 plastic bobbers that don’t even weigh a 1/4 pound. Dear C you are fired! You have to watch them. Some of my order was backordered so I get two shipping fees. Dean, you carry the splashbrights?

I hear ya. I tried to order a $12 part for my snowmobile and they wanted $17 to ship it. I didn’t buy it and my sled sat apart all winter.

First, the charges are flat. Order more stuff!!! You can have all orders sent to any Cabelas and you can pick it up – no change on that.

Second, If they back order an item, they don’t double bill.

You need to “craft” your order to coincide with the shipping chart. I think the $8 is up to $100 in stuff. So you need to buy $99 worth and so on. They make money on some orders and lose money on others.

If you are a preferred customer, you get free shiping offeres all the time!!

I don’t live close to one anymore. When the houseboat was only a few miles away, it was much easier to deal with them. No longer. I’m just going to get my rods and baits from Dean, my catfish stuff from Catfish connection. and have my local fishing shop (Dorn Hardware) do the ordering for me. I do an order each spring and fall for the season’s needs. Times are tough and I have most everything I need. I want to try the new bobbers even though I think they are disposable junk.

This website rocks. I get a chance to vent about reality and someone has volunteered to pick a couple up for me. I fish a lot at night and I need a quality lit up bobber that I can count on. I think it might be time to build one of my own. I’d pay 10-15 dollars for a good one that doesn’t run out or has easily replacable long lasting batteries. Gamgatsu has the fire tip that I like but I cant throw it very far and much prefer a slip through style slip bobber. I do notice the price is coming down on the Thill lights I have been using. i was seeing $5.50 a replacement light last summer and half of them didn’t work out of the package.

Air freight that is heavy will do that to you every time especially if you have A.M. delivery.

Wisker, I was part of the test group for the splashbrite last year, we were getting over 40hrs run time on them and were treating them like a _ _ _ headed stepchild, just putting them throught the ringer. You all should be really happy with them. -Mark

Now if they would only make a smaller size. Then it would be time to try them.
