I have had nothing but bad luck with optimas. all my buddies have too. they IMO a not worth the money. Returned 3 sets before switching to Northern Marine and been happy since.
i put a red optima in my car two years ago. now it won’t hold a charge. took it back to the parts house i bought it from only to find out it’s three months out of warranty. that was a waste of $150.00 no more optimas for me!
i quit using them. when they are just out of warranty they always failed for me went back to the cheap farm and fleet and havent had to replace them yet 1 1/2 YEARS out of warranty
I went to a electronics seminar last weekend. The guy giving the class sells batterys and sets up new boats. He said Optima Batterys are a waste of money, it is better to buy a regular trolling battery.
I just had to replace both my trolling motor batteries this spring too. I had the Fleet Farm batteries. One was totally fried last fall. It wouldn’t even take a charge. This spring would have been 4 years for them. Why does it seem like I just replaced them last year?
