Trolling motor question

    I just purchased a powerdrive v2 55 lbs thrust. I have a 40 amp in-line fuse right now for breaker. Do you think that is enough for a breaker or do I need to step up the the 60 breaker that minnkota sells?

    I don’t have a manual for that model in front of me, but I strongly suggest that you use the precise size breaker that MinnKota recommends.

    Your motor pulls a max 50 amps. 12 volt system.
