What size ball do you need or what are you using it for?

using it for a trolling motor stabilizer, don’t know what size ball will work, I assume either, since I will have to modify it a bit, if it’s for something else.

I’ve got a 1″ ball on my trolling motor mount. Seems to work fine for that job.

I dont want to hyjack a post, but how do you guys feel about using a ram mount for a trolling motor stabilizer? I currently have nothing and was either going to go to the fixed post or a ram mount. I heard a guy say ram mounts are actually to tight for a stabilizer and it will rip the screws/bolts out of the decking. This is just what he said.
    So, pros? cons?

There is not enough upward force for a trolling motor with
a RAM mount to rip any screw from a deck or a gunnel.

I use one to minimize the bouncing and the possiblity of
my MinnKota quick release mount puck loosening up.

I use a RAM mount to stabilize my trolling motor also. Last thing I need is my $$$ trolling motor investment bouncing/banging around the boat

    It works great!

    I love mine!!

Not only does it keep your trolling motor from beating itself up while you are running accross water or down the interstate, it keeps the trolling motor from stressing where it mounts to the boat also.
