I am looking into taking my wife and daughters to Leech Lake for the MN fishing opener. Anyone have recomendations on staying at a resort there?

Brindleys harbor on pine point. My family and I stay ther atleast 3 times a year and love it. They also clean and package all your fish for free, comes in handy when your kids fill baskets with bluegills.

I haven’t been up there in a few years but Hiawatha Beach resort was always good for us a family.

We have been staying at Pikedale resort for years. They are nice people. The cabins are nice and they have a bar there. It is located on the east side by Bear Island so if the wind blows you can find cover to fish in.

Huddles is a nice resort. Try looking at the chamber of commerce up their for resort options.

I’ll second the recomendation on Brindley’s. Great resort, helpful people and they will take care of you with where to be, what time to be there, and how to catch them.

    Good luck!
