    Just to clear up some information some are putting out there…No business can pull your credit without your consent (besides those CC companies that are doing checks to offer pre-approved cc, but those don’t count as inquires). If companies are doing that they are in violation of The Fair Credit Reporting Act and the FTC would be very interested in knowing what companies are doing that. They also open themselves up to lawsuits.

    You don’t need a SSN to pull credit. A name and address works perfectly fine, or even just an address, or even just a name…

    Well not exactly. You said they are checking credit worthiness of friends. Pictures of people drinking does not indicate a person’s credit worthiness. If so, Big G would have a negative credit rating.

    Theory is that if your friends aren’t credit worthy or have other issues, you may as well.

    Here is the whole quote…. I challenge anybody, other than those I have friended (alot from IDO) to try to find out even an ounce about me, from FB…compared to what you can find out about me here at IDO… Your right though..my credit score could be 999, but with the firends I have and the I like, I think they will be foreclosing on me tomorrow…
