I’ll start one !

Looking out my window this morning, I see an unwlecome sight,could that be snow? why yes it is and it’s snowing as I write this ,however it’s not sticking to the streets or sidewalks, very light and is suppose to end mid morning. The GOOD new is 50’s in the forecast for high’s all next week . I’m located in Milwaukee, home of the “SUMO” salmon. What’s it doing in your neck of the woods?? My real question to all the water watchers is, what is the clarity of the river ??

2″ of fresh snow and 38 today, it’ll probably all be gone tomorrow and most of it today. Water here in the river is semi clear/dirty and flowers are coming up.

1 1/2″ of new snow here in Waterloo, IA. 29 degrees. The forecast is for sun shine and warmer weather Sunday so it should be good for the grass seed and fertilizer I put down last week.

Water clarity on the Miss. down here in s.e. Ia. is about an inch and a half, but we’re on the lower end of the sewer pipe so to speak. Looking at BK’s photos from Evert’s, I’d guess it to be close to 10inches to maybe a foot, which I’d consider great for my area any time.

Visiting in Aitkin this weekend…14 degrees this AM…out little lake sprung a leak and the shoreline is open for about 2 to 4 feet around it…thin ice on the perimeter this morning though…the bullrush patches were open water too…GO SUN!

About 30 with a little wind here in the suburbs of Grand Meadow. Beautiful day, but the wind is a little chilly. depending on the water flow, Big E and I plan on hitting the river tomorrow.

La Crosse Wi. 40 degrees no snow, river stage 10 and rising

Here in the Northwoods of WI it is 21*F with a light NW wind and full sunshine. Going to be in the store until 3 p.,m., then off to cut some wood and run the dogs. If there is any time after that, maybe a trip to the ice to see if there is a fish or two that wants to cooperate… Along the way, WI Boys high school bball championships today to go with the WCHA hockey and NCAA mens bball. It don’t get no better. I have to go check my brackets, not doing real well, but had decent day yesterday.
