    The Boys trounced on Purdue in BBALL and will be playing a tired double overtime Ohio tomorrow. Gotta love it.!!!!!!!

    The Girls Hockey has earned its way to the title playoff also….go girls!!!!!!!!!!!

    I am pulling for the Gophs all the way….

    But DO NOT look at The Ohio State…

    Great coach with a lot of talent !!

    If the Gophs do not win…we need them to have it be real close with 40 minutes of good basketball for them to make it to the big dance !!

    The Gopher’s make the dance easily. No question even if we lose to OSU. The selection team always reviews how teams have been doing as of late and over the past 45 days the Gophers are one of the hotest teams and maybe the best in the B10 over that time period.

    I heard today that the selection team will not take into account how “hot” a team is to close out the season. It’s a non-issue this year, it’s the over-all picture.

    I really wish Illinois beat OSU today….but as a Badger fan, I can admit I’ll be pulling for The Gophers Sunday.

    should be the illini playing the gophers today. too many missed chances yesterday, especially at the end of regulation and first OT.
    oh well, good luck gophers vs. osu. i think illini and gophs are in the tourney anyway.

    Great news for the Gophers. In the next couple years they NCAA will institute the “participation” tournament. If you field a team, no matter how bad, they will allow you into the tournament.

    Gotta do the money grab you know.

    BTW, that isn’t meant as a slam to the Gophers. It’s meant as a slam to all the money grubbers who want to take competition out of sports.

    Karnac you are not…. MN will still be in…now maybe Illinois makes it in and Mississippi State is out…MN beating the Illini in Illinois late season, kills your team chances over the Goph’s….IMHO

    Missed that one… I thought the 2 point loss to the Gophers would be overshadowed by the tight game to OS, who absolutely destroyed MN today.
