Have never bought into the Robin thing. They usually bring in a snow or three What are the true signs that you look for? (Seeing a picture of Bret in a boat doesn’t count )
When the Turkey Vultures start soaring the bluffs down here then it’s really spring

I found a nightcrawler in my driveway this morning. After all the rain yesterday I amazed that my retaining wall wasn’t in the driveway.

We’ve had robins and mourning doves at our feeders all winter, so you’re probably smart not to use those as harbingers of spring.

Since I have fished in a Memorial Day snow storm, I expect snow until my wife demands that I turn the AC on!

When spring training starts, spring isn’t far behind. Even if we get snow now we know it’s only a matter of time.

Load restrictions on our delivery trucks went into effect on Monday. Having the frosty come out of the ground is a sure sign for me.

Probably the best indicator. Certainly better than robins.

I’m only 26, so I haven’t been around this big world TOO much, but grampa always said that boxelder bugs are a sure sign of the spring. I seen one the other day outside my aparment complex when I got home from fishing. Seeing that and 53 degrees on the thermometer at 730pm really sealed the deal for me.

The only thing the boxelder bugs are a sign of is time to call the extirminator…

    Just kidding…

    It’s bluebirds for me!!!

Darn it Bret, you really need to warn us when you post a picture that big of yourself.

The red winged and yellow headed blackbird cackle. NO question it’s spring when I hear that sound!
