    Can someone please explain what the basic terms used in these measurements mean? I have been looking at them recently and it’s like reading Russian. I know to really get things figured out on the river you need to be aware of the info and what it means.

    The current Pool 4 level is 674.5 feet…At 680 feet the river is over the banks (flood level). I believe 688 feet is the height at which Everts starts sandbagging the bait shop, and moving the cookies up the hill.

    I’m sure someone will correct me if I am wrong on this…

    Keep in mind, the sites read differently and vary in their flows, stages–use the same site consistantly to combat this.
