    Hello:

I am new to this great IDO site and new to fishing pool 4. I was there on Sunday and caught a few walleyes just before dark, but my luck ran out after dark. I saw numerous boats staying out after dark. Would anyone be willing to share a few tips on how to catch the walleyes after dark in pool 4?
Any help would be appriciated. Thanks!

    39,
First of all, wanted to say:
    Welcome to IDO…

toward the top of the page, you should have “my home”, don’t click on it, but mouse over it, and you should get a drop down box, click on “search”
enter a search for the last couple of years for march and april, and read everything written by James Holst, Dean Marshall, Dustin Stewart, Greg Vandermark, and Jarrad Fluekiger, for starters. There are many others but these guys are the Who’s Who of Pool 4. Also under “forums”, there is a forum for written articles by mostly staff members, scroll down that list for articles on casting shallow walleyes, and lastly; check out the “video” section, should also be some good ones on there.
    Good Luck,
    and again, Welcome to IDO.
    Jack

You did pretty good if you got a couple walleyes, we only got a couple saugers around when it got dark, then stayed for another hour with no more fish to show for it. Talked to a lot of guys as they were stacked up towards the damn and nobody seemed to have done good. The “Night Bite” just didnt seem to be going last night…. where we were atleast.
