I may have a line on a discounted set of SRM-29 Interstate deep cycle batteries, then again, I may not…
I’m hoping to change out the batteries in my boat this weekend and just wondering if anybody knows where to get a couple of these batteries just in case??

Couple of the gas stations that advertise interstate batteries don’t have any in stock but can order, I’d just as soon do the boat this weekend as I’ll be fishing pool 4 on the 13th.

    Help….

Sams club. But, if i’m not mistaken, the 29’s are slightly taller than 27’s, so make sure you can fit them in the compartment.

Ya, not having much luck calling the gander stores, but I’ll keep trying.
Lakeville said interstate picked them all up for recharging (I think that’s what he said)

Gander in Roch. had Interstate’s but I could not say what size. I bought a 27 two years ago and it has been one of the best batteries I have owned. I thought Sam’s Club carried them but the Sam’s in LAX has Energizers.

Cabelas has there AGM’s on sale right

read the reviews: they definitely seem to have the advertised cranking power, which is significantly more than other group 27 or 31s AGMs including Optima

They are really a great battery

I have had a set for four years now.

Charge fast are spill and waterproof

And there 27’s rate as high or higher then 29’s

Worst case I’ll look at Cabela’s batteries, just found out the “source” didn’t come though…should have known better I guess.

Any Gander with a hour or so doesn’t have any group 29’s so their out.

I’m going to try Sam’s tommorrow, and watch for interstate trucks driving around…

Gets even better, just called Sam’s club and they say they don’t sell interstate batteries….grrrrr

Everts handles Interstate Batteries. I’m not sure Deano has the sizes your looking for in stock, but I can check in the morning.

Dean’s kinda busy right now…I think he’s still looking for a malpractice attorney.

Ditto, except my Dad gets them for me at his work! I too would recommend going straight to the source. They were very happy to sell to me directly and cut out the middle man when I found myself in desperate need of one on short notice!

I had to order my Group 29 Interstates from the warehouse. I have never seen anything higher than 27’s anywhere around town.

Ok, thanks all, got fustrated looking for a 29 series and checked Cabella’s, the 27 series they have has more amphours/etc than the 29 I was looking for and only about $10 more as they’re haviing a sale.
So I have batteries now, and some more ammo, a few lures…etc…you know how going to Cabela’s when they have a sale on goes…:)

    Thanks all
