Posts like this always put a smirk on my face. As you can see, I’ve been around for a little while. Historically, IDO has went through it’s growing pains…politics, breast pumps and Brett Favre is a god posts. The site has evolved and I for one think it’s the best fishing website on the net. I’d love to see most of the conversations in the Outdoor Gear forum on other sites. Openly discussing non-sponor products. Not saying there aren’t other great sites, but IDO is the best.
As for the moderators jobs, it’s thankless 99% of the time. Whack one post that is against some very SIMPLE rules and look out. The wheel really starts squeaking. I’d challenge the squeakers to dedicate the same amount of time to something that pays at this level. They have volunteered their time because it helps make IDO a better place.
Is it just me or is it ironic that this post is still alive? Funny how horrible those mean old mods are!
