    How many feet of visibility is there? Coming up that way next week.

    I don’t know; but my guess would be at least 3′. I also wonder if there is much fishing happening on pool 3? Maybe in Prescott the landing is open. Anybody know?

    i don’t know of a launch to get you on pool 3 right now. pool 4 you can get on at Evert’s resort though.

    Jim, if your thinking below Lock and Dam 3, it’s very clear. My camera will see close to ten feet.

    There there are some report from Jason Halfen in the Mississippi River forum from yesterday and last weekend that should help you too.

    If you are thinking Pool 3…the only thing I can tell you is wear a PDF and a long rope so we can pull you out with out being in danger ourselves.

    The Prescott landing is open, water is open to about 1/8 of a mile north of Hwy 10, south of the landing is open but with floating ice. There is a launching fee in Prescott, make sure to have your sticker with you. I have no idea of the water clarity there at this time.
