Lessons learned at church today

It was a tough visit to church today, probably because I made 2 mistakes. One I wore my Cabela’s guide wear, and two I choose to hang it up on a hanger before going inside.

While I was hearing from Luke, somebody else must have been hearing something different, as they helped themselves to my 2 month old insulated guide wear…

I am hoping it was somebody who just walked in looking for something to steal, versus it being somebody I just shook hands with.

    Sigh….

unreal. If they were that desprate, how about passing a note to the pastor/priest and asking the church for help. Regardless of in a church or anywhere else, wrong is wrong and that shows the epitome of how low people can go.

To bad that kid from the Doritos comercial wasn’t there. “Don’t touch my mother, my Doritos, OR MY GUIDE WEAR” ..SMACK!!!!!!

Our sermon today was about loving thine enemies. I guess that fits…

I would definitely report that to the church office…someone must have seen that happen. Especially a XXL Tall. Maybe an “anti” huunter/fisherman in the congregation?

Wow, that is pretty bad. Our church has been busted into twice in the last 6 months. Didnt realy get much but caused damage. I guess it is the sign of the times. Remember alot of people going to church are trying to find there way not necessarily found there way.

what goes with desperate times is desperate people. Lesson #1. Keep your faith, it’s a matter of time but you will be the one to reap the rewards. Lesson #2 always sit by the window. I feel for you Pal.

More than likely it was not someone from your congregation, you are lucky your car keys were not in the pocket of your Guide Wear. I do not know if this is still going on but last fall out pastor told us about cars being stolen from church parking lots in the Rochester and surrounding areas during the church service. What they are doing is checking coat pockets that are hung up in the coat rooms for keys then using the remotes to find and steal the cars. Since then I always make sure to not keep anything in my coat pockets, it is very sad that people have to do things like this in Gods house.

That will test one’s faith,,,,,,, seems churches are being hit during the week and services as people are too trusting & make easy targets.

I put my name in permanent marker on everything I own that’s worth more than $25….has come in handy a few times.

Sorry to hear about this. That’s about as low as it gets.

If you haven’t heard though, turn on the TV. The reason these things happen is because of the Bush administration. Just ask our buddy Joe Biden

Unbelievable! I better rethink my habbits, I always leave my wallet and car keys in my coat at church.
