Hi guys , just wondering what everyones thoughts are on the great lakes sealine reels 47lc line counter models. Will be trolling for the walleyes with lead core line. How many colors should you put on these of 27 pound lead core line. Thanks for your help.

Almost a full spool, 8-9 colors generally, with a small amount of backing.
You can fit a full spool of 17 lb lead on a sealine 47.
The only benefit you’ll see with 27 lb lead over 17 lb lead is increased know strength…a few more baits retrieved from snags over the course of the season.
Which reminds me…..time to replace the lead again!
I left the 27’s for my long lines/3 ways. The 47’s are what I use for lead. I can get a full core plus backing on the 47’s.
