    Sad news indeed

    No reason for me to watch that show any more.

    That is sad. I wonder how they are going to play this on the show this year? The Cornelia Marie website is down now, but there was something on there that Jake’s (the kid on the Northwestern whose sister died last year) father is missing and the search has been called off.

    Phil was one of the true characters on the show. I really enjoy him and the interaction he had with his kids on the boat. Sadly the show won’t be the same without him.

    I wonder if they are even going to film that boat as part of the fleet now?

    I still canot figure out why I like that show so much but I, and the rest of the family sure do. Sad loss for the family and all of us who felt like we came ot know him.

    As far as the show – this happened on their first offload of opelio so they have already completed the whole King crab season. I would sure think that this will have to be a part of the show
