Favred (FAHrv’d), V. To bring one’s team to the brink of victory through brilliant maneuver, but to lose by committing a colossal unforced blunder. Example: The Democrats favred their chances for health care reform when they lost the Massachusetts Senate seat.

Which is not quite the same as being Munsoned…

munsoned (v.) – to be up a creek without a paddle; to have the whole world in the palm of your hand and blow it. a figure of speech.

    from the great movie “kingpin”.

Is that kind of like Aaron Rogers Favred the Packers out of the playoffs this year with his collossal fumble? People with “glass” QBs shouldn’t throw stones…

I just thought it was funny. I still like grandpa Favre. Nobody plays QB like he does. Sometimes that’s a good thing, sometimes it isn’t.

But, I really wouldn’t put Rodgers’ fumble in the same category as throwing a ball back across the field into coverage when you were already in field goal range.

Wow,a 56 yard field goal would have been a hell of a kick.

Ryan Longwell indoors? I bet he makes 50%. Wish the packers still had him.

Who made you open this post? Who made you reply? Are you trying to say that a guy who talks in the third person to himself on the shoutbox does not have a life? Favre you too!

Please, not another coming of the super bowl shuffle. I would love to see Walter run the ball again, as long as it was against somebody other than the packers. But I can’t take watching that dance again.

shouldnt this thread be called ” vikinged ” its not bretts fault, its the curse of the viking choke…happens almost every year..with or without brett. i was hoping he could have put an end to it, but that curse is pretty strong, if he couldnt do it, i dont think anyone can. this curse was working thru out the entire game. not just on brett either.
