What a good role model Mr. Mckinnie!

Leave it to a Vikings to cause more off the field problems! What a waste of talent. Mckinnie has all the tools to be a star in this league, maybe even a HOF. Then he gets Elected to the pro-bowl, by the fans and his peers, and he gets kicked off. Not good, not good at all. I know there are many Viking fans on here, but you should all be ashamed of him. I know there isn’t much the Vikings can do to him, but the league should step up and say something.

Just a die hard football fans two-cents.

Why did he get kicked off?

He missed 3 practices with unexcused absences. Its “HIS” own dang fault. Leave the Vikings and us Fans outta this one. And also he got kicked off the team. what more can the league do than kick him off the team? fine him for not going to the practices?? sounds ridiculous

He missed meetings and practices that were required!

He heard he might be matched up against Julius Peppers and didn’t want it to look like he played on roller skates. Or he was just to lazy to go to practice.

More proof that this Pro-bowl thing is turning into a big joke! I watched 3 plays in yesterday’s game and that was enough…basically a 7 on 7 passing scrimmage!

Yep, what a loser move.. and he was tweating at night letting people know what clubs he was planning on going to..

He won’t get voted in again after this year.. even if his play is borderline respectful.

I just want to go on record as saying I have no control, nor do I endorse anything that comes from MNick’s computer.

    I agree

Some Professional athletes and money bad combination:

Like a match and gas. Just give it time and it goes off
They seem to live in there own world.
What a dumb for missing out on this for future gains.

Pro Bowl is about what your peers think of your season as a whole.

I know there are a lot of people that think it is a joke.

Try to remember this is about players that are darn good.

He screwed himself, not his team. I laughed when I read about it, and thought he is a moron. I left it at that. If anyone is looking to a pro athlete as a role model, plan on being disappointed in the not so distant future.

Nothing that A-hole does surprises me at all. Poor excuse for a human being IMHO.

In my opinion they should get rid of the Pro Bowl all together.Bring back the skills contest that they use to have back in the 70s.It was alot of fun, and you got to find out who the best athletes in the NFL were.

It’s very easy for all of us to sit back and criticize this guy. However, I then think back to when I was 25 years old. Hand me 5 million a year and I’m pretty sure I’d have made the headlines.

I’m not condoning what he did, just saying.

As long as he stays out underage girls pants I could care less.

Of course statutory rape and DRUG dealing is exclusively a Packer thing!

This is certainly not a pack/vikes issue. Any player on any team that pulls something like this is a moron. Us average Joe’s would play the game for $100,000 a year. Although I probably would get my handed to me the first practice. To throw away something like that is sad.

Me too! I would invest in a new stadium for all the WI people to come and see the Packers get trampled on again.

Go Pack…and take the Vikings with you!!

One of his Tweets was sent in the early hours of the morning. He was on his way to the KOD (King of Diamonds). Out of all the players that backed out of the game because of an injury excuse, only McKinney couldn’t get this communicated to the appropriate people.

In my opinion, it’s pretty weak when someone calls anyone out regarding the probowl. 34 players declined to go. Enough said….

i second kooty on his statement of what would happen if i was 25 and had millions to spend. and also i think the pro bowl is the worst sporting event in all sports besides maybe the NBA pro game… nobody on the defense plays to half of there capability all it is is a passing practice for QB’s and receivers.. if i were voted there it woulod be hard to get motivated to play in it…. and play for what reason to possible trip on a pilon or camera guy and get hurt just to miss next season. and only get paid what 20 to 40 thousand when ur making 2 to 12 million a year. thats like yoiur boss asking u to work over time because your the best on the crew and you can get it done right and fast and o ya im paying u half your wage to do it……….

He didn’t deserve to be there in the first place. He did a service to anyone who watched the game. You may have gotten whiplash watching the d-ends go around him.

The pro-bowl is a waste of time, why would anybody watch it? I’m sure it was fun to watch the second, third, fourth string selections play. The top players are all playing this weekend or else playing golf. They know this game means nothing.
