The loss of a great friend

I lost one of my closest friends in a snowmobile accident friday night. At this point it still doesn’t seem real. It became more real today as his body was brought back from HCMC to Alexandria via police escort. He was one heck of a friend and officer. There have been some sleepless nights lately as every time I close my eyes I have visions of all the fun things we have done together. Hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, boating and 4 wheeling. We did it all. He was also one of the best multi-sport athletes I knew. I could go on and on but at this point I’m still in shock over the whole thing so I will keep it short. RIP buddy you will be truely missed. Please keep his family in your prayers as burying your child must be one of the hardest things to do.

Sorry to see this. Thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family. I lost one of my closest friends on a snowmobile 14 years ago, it was the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to deal with. Keep remebering all the good times you had.

Very sorry to hear of this. I lost a good friend about 15 years ago to a snowmobile accident and I think of him every time I see snow.

DT- I understand completely how you feel. We laid to rest my Hero in life this last fall. He taught me most of what I know and most of all how to really learn. There is a void there that doesn’t just go away. My thoughts and prayers to you, your family, and his.
