Garmin Nuvi + Lakemaster Chip

    Have any of you guys purchased the Lakemaster chip for your Garmin Nuvi? My parents are buying a Garmin and are wondering how well it works with the chip.

    I’m curious how the touchscreen would react in the cold weather, or if it’s waterproof to any extent. Thanks for your help.

    which Nuvi model?

    I didn’t know they made a Lakemaster chip for the Nuvi?

    It is a Nuvi 755T. You can buy the Lakemaster chips off of Garmin’s website, as well as others I’m sure. The website will tell you which units the chip is compatible with.
