Riverdale High School in Port Byron Il

This will be the first year Riverdale High in Port Byron Il will have a bass fishing team. My brother and I will be coaching the team. The only problem is we where told that there will be no financial support from the Riverdale schools. Going in to this my brother and I both knew we would not get paid, and we are both fine with that. We both think its something to get the kids into that will last them a lifetime. Its something we both love to do and why not teach the kids what we can. The only problem is we both have full time jobs and families, and we can not afford to buy all the gear and gas for boats and trucks that will be needed to travel around the state for tournaments throughout the season. So if any of you in I-DO world have advice, or gently used gear, or if any of the boat dealers or companies would be willing to help that would be greatly appreciated. If you can help PM me.

Have you and your brother contacted any of the local tackle shops? They might be able to help you out with some gear that you need. Call the local bass clubs. I would give them all a call. The worst that can happen is they say no. PM me if you need any help doing this. Best of luck in your quest.
