I personally havent targeted bass but have landed some nice ones while chasing crappies. Im pretty sure there is a decent population of large and small mouth.Actually caught one of my best inland smallies trolling for eyes on a rock bar last spring.

X2 for Namekagon. It’s a really nice lake with a few resorts and bars/restaurants right on the water. I’ve only fished it for Muskies, although not really a numbers lake there are some very nice fish to be had. Other than that the Spider Chain is also worth checking out, great multi-species lake with gin clear water.

Long Lake in Washburn County. You will catch more bass and panny’s here than anywhere. Also Walleye, Pike. This lake has it all, but it is an exceptional bass fishery, large and smally’s. There are atleast 15 resorts around this lake. Some more kid friendly than others. If this sounds like something you are interested in PM me and I will give you more info. Better act fast this lake books up pretty quick….Good luck in your search….
