I don’t remember reading that someone blamed the zebras for the viking loss against the Cowgirls (shhhh, the game hasn’t been played yet).. Still one game further than the Pack got this year bra…

Looks like the road goes through the dirty south.. The Aints looked great today.. Unless the Vikes blow out the Cowgirls tomorrow all of the media will be crowning the Aints as NFC champions.. And. this is fine with me, everyone is crowning the Cowgirls tomorrow so we’ll see.

    Bert Favre playoff record since 1997 is 3-7, 16 td’s and 16
    int’s.

I bet Brett will throw 9 INts tomorrow. He’s the worst QB I’ve ever seen. He’s gonna get hurt sometime during the regular season. He’s gonna implode in December like he always does… I’m shocked if he even makes it to the stadium for tomorrows game.

I can’t tell if these people selling all this gloom and doom hate the Vikings or Brett more.

I’ll laugh my off if Brett were to decide to go into the HOF as a Viking instead of a Packer. Who could or would blame him with all the grief he gets from his once loyal fans. Those fans are a great example of fair weather wagon jumpers. On the band wagon one day and off it the next.

I will assume you are trying to stir the pot because what you said make zero sense. You are calling a Packer fan fair-weather because they used to cheer for Favre and now they don’t?? Yes, Packer fans who are still cheering for Favre are fair-weather (also could use the term man crush) and really should turn in the Packer gear, but cheering against Favre and the Queens is what a Packer fan is suppose to do. Go Dallas(Unfortunately I think MN will win )!

They just reported on ESPN that Favre himself said there are two outcomes today, they win or they lose and if they lose this could be his last game. The season isn’t even over yet and he is already preparing to make sure the off-season is all about him.

I’m questioning the reasons behind some of the posts is all. Some on here are always trying to turn the conversation towards Brett when the talk is about other things, and they do it by continualy cutting the guy down. Quiet honestly, there is not a single person on this site who would not play another year if they were in his shoes and had $12M waved under their nose.

These same people who are cutting him down today, were loving him a couple years ago. So the question is, are they are they not his fans? Are they on and off the wagon about everything?

The score is 3-2 Twins lead the Angels, the out bottom of ninth. Torii Hunter is up with a man on first. You gonna tell me you hope he hits a home run because he USED to play for your team?

Certainly, we wouldn’t cheer for a HR…. but then again, we wouldnt throw beer bottles at him and call him worthless…. then again, we didn’t have Torri as GOD status when he was with the TWINS either…

You do realize, if the Angels were playing a rival team, I would cheer for Torii to hit a homerun…. to beat the more loathed team…. your scenario, makes it sound like you think the pack were playing today ?????

OK, what about Moss? You Queen fans thought he was a god for awhile. Did you cheer for Oakland because he went there? Do you cheer for NE now? Would you cheer for Moss if NE was playing the Queens? I didn’t think so. Favre is one guy. When he was on the team, you cheer for him. He is on another team so you cheer against him. By your logic, who should the Packer fans cheer for this week? Sharper was a big part of the Packers for awhile. Heck, he helped the Queens D for a couple years too. Are you guys going to be torn on who to cheer for?

I personally root for Moss unless he is playing the Vikes. However, we never anointed him GOD either, so I don’t feel betrayed by him. I wonder if the Miami fans were the same with Danny boy? Cowboys and Staubach? Pitt and Bradshaw? I mean the man/boy/woman/girl crush, worship, idolize thing???

Obviously we(Vikes/Bears/Lions fans) got to see first hand how the worshiping in WI took place. I can understand the feeling of betrayal, but I also think every Packer fan who had such a crush on #4 set themselves up for this.

I don’t feel bad for a single Packer fan. You’ve got a couple super bowl rings, had a franchise QB(I’ve not seen one in my time as a Vikes fan) and look to have another franchise QB who could win you another super bowl or two. In my opinion, the hatred so many Packer fans have shown is a bit foolish, but I haven’t walked in your shoes either.

Again, I thought you could read ??? Let me dummy it down a little more…Without annointing him God prior, if Moss was playing the Cowboys (whom I have always hated), I would cheer for Moss. If Moss was playing the Vikings, I would cheer for the Vikings. Don’t read any further into that…. pretty simple.

I can only speak for myself, but I don’t have hatred for Favre or feel betrayed. I do think Favre is an egotistical and I think the same of him as I do Moss or Owens. He tries to cover it up with his good-ole country boy persona and I do think it is funny people still believe that. He does the it isn’t about me, but it really has to be. Just like his conversation with Ed Werner were Favre says if they lose to Dallas it could be his last game. What is the point of bring that up now? Because it has to be all about him. Some credit goes to the guys on Countdown where they basically rolled their eyes and said they were not going to talk about that. On ESPN radio today they said they fully expect Favre to retire no matter what happens and then he will play again.

I don’t care if it is Favre or TJack or anybody else. I will always cheer against the Queens. I of course hope Favre does poorly as that makes the chances of the Queens winning less. I predicted he would fall apart by week 10ish. I was obviously wrong. Packer fans treated him like a God and Queen fans were always quick to point out all the bad things about him. Now the roles have reversed. I still hope he has one of his classic playoff meltdowns so the Queen fans also get to experience Favre losing you a big game. It just doesn’t appear to be happening.

First off, Your welcome Pay attention to my posts and you can still get there

So basically he fooled the Fudgepacker fans for over 15 years, but NOW… you all see him for what he is ??? I smell sour grapes What I see, is him laughing at the GB staff, who “moved on” without him… guess what ??? He moved on too… to the NFC Championship game with the Vikings Whether he retires this year or next, I do believe he did everything I wanted him to, minus a SB Championship, but you know what ??? It is still possible If he goes into his retire/not retired, I could care less, as I don’t have near as much invested in him as GB fans did and really, he owes me nothing So with that said, I want to thank Brett for his play for my team this year, he sure made it a fun season so far

Yes, I know you won’t care what he does since if the Queens would have won two games this year you would be the first to say that you were too busy hunting and fishing to notice that there was a football season. But for now you get to be the biggest cheerleader. Congrats on the season.

So at what point do we get to start mentioning it took a former Packer kicker and QB and two guys who got their start at UW for the Queens to get anywhere?

    1) He has a good team around him and without the quality of team around him he could not have pulled this out of his a$$ just for you. I keep hearing that Favre makes the WR’s better. I think this season that the WR’s are making Favre look better, THEY have made some amazing catches this season.

    2) If he was still a packer (which I am glad he is not) this season, he would have been on IR by week 4 with the poor O-line the the packers have.(by the way we still made the playoffs just like you did last year)

    3) The Packers were in the NFC championship just a mere 2 seasons ago, which was Favre’s last year as a packer and we all know how that ended.(in case you don’t remember it was a Favre int in overtime that LOST that NFC championship game).

    4) Rodgers is now the QB for the Packers and he is one of the top QB’s in the league and he is the Packers future QB for years to come. The QB position is not the problem with the packers.

So yes the Viking are having a great season and it’s hard for me to say this but they have a good chance to get that superbowl monkey off there back, but if you think this is all just because of Favre you are sadly mistaken, he is a key cog in the wheel but it takes more then one to make the wheel spin smoothly, and if the Vikings do get this monkey of there back, Brett Favre will walk off into the sunset and take all the credit and just kick dirt into the Viking face because it is all about him and he could really care less about anyone but himself.

Totally agree with you GARVI By the same token, the loss in the NFC Championship game 2 years ago, cannot be put on one cog either Hopefully the team does not put him in that position, such as the GB team did 2 years ago…. A game is the sum of ALL plays.

I take exception with #1. Case in point was the last game. That first touchdown was thrown so well that the DB had no idea what just happened. Every QB relies on his WRs ability to make amazing grabs once in a while. The point is the QB has to have the ability to read and the accuracy to give the WR a chance.

And that leads into #2. You are right. We may not have even made the playoffs if our O line was as bad as yours. However it wasn’t and for most of the year the protection has enabled Favre to do what he has done. However that is not a knock on Favre. Younger guys are just able to move and/or take the punishment for the most part. You are probably right that he couldn’t have taken that punishment, but the fact is he didn’t. I imagine the offensive line played a part in Chilli’s decision to bring him in. I don’t know if they would have taken the risk with a O line that had more holes than Wisconsin Swiss cheese. At least, I hope that went into his decision.

Oh no. Just pointing out Minnesota doesn’t have any talent and need to go to Wisconsin to get it. Now I am really getting in deep calling Chilly and Bevell talent.
