Well, I’ve yet to hear one “expert” pick our lowly QB stealin’ queens to win this weekend. All the guys on ESPN talk about is how great the Dallas D is over the last 4 games. The offense is gonna cut us up. Vikes don’t have an answer for many things Dallas does well.

No doubt, Dallas has been playing some good football of late. However, it’s funny how after the loss to the Chargers they were dead and gone a few short weeks back. It’s like these announcers forget you can win on any given “Sunday” in the NFL. Suddenly everyone picks them as super bowl champs.

I’ll be at the game this Sunday with my parents. The last playoff game we attended together was against the Cardinals in 98. Let’s hope for the same results!!

SKOL VIKINGS!!!!! Even though we don’t have a chance.

Let’s just hope your kicker doesn’t blow the game winner. Oh that’s right he’s a former Packer too. He can take the pressure! Don’t get all fired up here. I’m just kidding. I hope the Vikes can pull it out! Good luck and enjoy the game.

I think they’re well aware of that, but had they came on and said, “well, one team will win, the other will lose, now the weather” I’m not so sure how long we’d have News, Weather and Sports anymore.

Controversy can mean ratings and they seem to be doing a good job of it.
But I think they’re right, Dallas looks like the favorite, but if both teams are playing their best, I see one fun game coming up.

Lots of points, Dallas by 3

I think these two teams match up pretty well. There are the obvious superstars on each side of the ball and on each team.

    Romo – Favre
    Austin – Rice
    Jones – Peterson
    Ware – Greenway
    Witten – Shiancoe
    DL vs. DL

etc, etc. I still think the one spot where Dallas cannot match up is with the rookie. He’s been the difference maker in so many games this year. Games when teams thought they could match the Vikes, player for player, they had no answer for this kid.

I think the offensive Rookie of the Year will put us over the top or create a big play that gives us the Big Mo.

Just my purple colored glasses prediction for Sunday.

    Should be a good one!

Well, all those “experts” at ESPN picked the Packers last week. I know the cowgirls have been playing well, but the Vikings have been playing well at home all year. I think this turns into a blow out. Peterson, Favre, Harvin, Rice, Berrian, are all dangerous offensive weapons. Our defense will have Romo begging to go back to Dallas by the middle of the 4th quarter.

    Vikings – 38
    Cowgirls – 17

mmmmmmm the Purple Kool-Aid is tasting good today.

suisham misses a go ahead fg with 1:46 left and then favre takes us to the 20 and Longwell makes his to win 34-31….

No matter who wins…although I am rooting for Dallas…. I think it is going to be a good game. I predict Favre doesn’t make it through the whole game. The Dallas D is swarming to the ball and getting tons of pressure lately. As much as this kills me, Good Luck to the Vikes and we’ll meet again next year.

I’m going to watch it on a black and white TV so not seeing the color purple–that way can cheer Favre on.

was hoping for another packer-favre rematch.

They were talking about the officiating crew on KQ this morning. The crew that will be reffing the game this weekend is known as the toughest crew for penalizing the home team. More so than any other crew this year. I still think the Vikes will win at home. But I will be cheering for the Cowboys.

    Cougar,
You forgot to include a comparison of the cheerleaders.. Advantage – Cowboys.

I am gonna actually watch the game and SEE who wins…I will be cheering for my favorite team, The Vikings. Alot of predictions were made about Favre throughout the season… out by game 4… never make it to the playoffs… so far, he is proving everybody wrong.. except me

    Is Push Pearson playing?

I say we go after their punter hard, knock him out of the game! Then Romo will have to hold for FG’s and EP’s!!!

Buzzsaw, that’s the first football post you’ve made that I agree with!!

I think you have the name wrong, I think they were talking about Rodgers,

My prediction of Favre is still to come

But I can say being a Die hard pack fan He has done very well this season and has made your Vikings a very tough team, but the packers still did the right move because of the O-line problems of the pack, he would have been on life support by week 6 in green and gold.

Good luck this weekend, It will be a great game

I think it’s easier to predict next months weather pattern than a dang football game. Who would have thought the pack would lose to Tampa earlier this year???? How bout Chicago over the vikes?? That said, I hope the offensive line show up to play and the vikes win!!!

I’m not acquainted with KQ but that wouldn’t be P.A. making excuses already, would it?? I will be listening to the game on the radio and “hope” I will hear him whine….

I really detest the Cowboys almost beyond belief………but,

I think it comes down to the O-lines performance on both teams.. The O-line that plays better will win the game.. If we can hold Ware in check we will win. my 2 cents.

My prediction has yet to come

Bret throws Interception to lose the game just like he did the last playoff game with the packers As history repeats itself.

This is classic, a MN radio station already making up excuses just in case they lose! I wonder if they have an extra bandwagon parked out back of the dumper dome ready to drive away empty (again) after the game, just in case they lose. Good thing all the bases are covered.

I’m in a pinch with this game… I’m a Romo/Cowboys fan and a Favre/Vikings fan. I used to like the Packers when they had our QB and left the Vikings wagon in the dust for like ten years. So now what can I do? It’s going to be one of those games where either way I will not totally be satisfied But, here’s my prediction and remember last week I was wrong on both games…
    Cowboys 34 Vikings 27

I agree with the O-line being the key. More specifically, the OT’s. If we can keep them out of Favres face long enough, he should be able to manipulate the Dallas secondary enough to do plenty of damage. If they rush hard off the edges, we’ll need to run AP straight at them off tackle and watch some foot races down the field.

It’s going to either be a tight game or a blow out.

    Vikings win!!

I really think if we score more points than Dallas we have a good shot at coming out of this week with a “w”

I just hope everyone stays home to watch the game and NO ONE brings a radio out on the ice…. God forbid they’ll have it cranked up to 200db and be able to hear it all the way down in Chicago

It’s going to come down to turnovers like most all NFL games.
Here’s to the Vikes winning that battle

GARVI, no doubt, if Favre had taken all the hits/sacks that Rogers did early in the year, he would have been out…

    Classic Denny Green!

As long as we are all prognosticating. Look for Petersen to have an MVP game with a few short receptions that turn into huge gains. 37-10 Vikes.
