Plastic tackle boxes and holder?

Somewhere I seen some of them square 1″ or so thick plastic tackle boxes that people put jigs, lures and such in, that came with a rack to keep them together.

I’m starting to use them instead of the bigger plano and such boxes and leaving them in the boat, be nice to keep them together in a rack though.

Tried Cabela’s, Gander Mount and Fleetfarm so far.

Anybody ??

Sorry, I’m not explainning very well, think of them only these were clear and they came with a rack to mount 4-6 of them together, you could screw the rack to the floor or in a compartment and not have the boxes bounce around.

The boxes looked about 10x16x1.5″ or so.

And I have considered using the built in storage boxes but

would require cutting into the boat interior to mount them so not sure I want to do that, but it does make for a very

clean look.

Tackle Lockers

We’re getting close, I have a Alumacraft 185 TS with the wider gunnales and storage in them, the 4 boox would probably be the size that fits, flat floor in the storage so I could screw the rack down easily.

I’m not quite ready to make the kind of holes the storage lockers need.

I have one, found it at walmart I believe, but no longer use it. The carrying case is still there, but i’m using the boxes. If you want it, its all yours.

Let me see if I can talk the wife into a diner at the green mill or somewhere close to Hastings, you know off hand what thickness containers and how many go in it?

I’m wondering if any of the Plano style boxes will work with it.

I did find out where I’d seen it, on another forum a member posted about using racks from office supply to hold his containers in, I might just head over there, closer than Hasting..:)

Allen, I’ll take a look tonight and get the details for you. I think it held 4 or 5 boxes, not sure exactly what boxes fit in it. I’ll take a look.
