Outdoor Ice Rinks?

Where is there some old school outdoor rinks around the Rochester north and east burbs? I know of one in Wanamingo and that’s about it.

I know that there is an old school rink behind the Churchill elementary school in Rochester. That is NE side of town (wood burning stove warming shack is usually open on weekends). The Graham arena across from the fairgrounds just opened up 2 outdoor rinks but unfortunately that is on the south end of town.

*You could rip up the wood from your wifes fenced garden – buy a tarp from fleete and make your own…. so far I am not in trouble as the kids love it.

Pioneer on 18th and Pine in Hastings, Lyons Park in Hastings, Kennedy on Tyler up from 10th st. and behind the arena in Hastings…all have the “Old School” feel, and you can always jump into a pick up game!!

Ham Lake rink is open on the north side of the twin cities.
