Is there any particular reason Winfield plays every down with a 10 yard cushion on the receiver he is covering?

Vikes D is very suspect –

In fact, I suspect the season will be over quickly in the playoffs.

Makes you wonder how important EJ is to this team, don’t it?

I think Farve did call his own plays in the second half. Too bad he didn’t pay attention to who was catching the ball out of the back field in overtime. What the heck is Peterson’s problem with holding on to the rock…..

This is the main reason why I always say I’d rather be fishing or hunting on Sunday’s…..

Am I imagining things or wasn’t one of the accolades he was getting in his rookie season was how well he took care of the ball?

While we are at it, we might as well second guess going for 2.

Cant fault Bret on this one…
Special teams killed the Vikes with field position
If Petersen doesn’t get the ball stripped you had the feeling the Vikes had the momentum going for them to go down and win that one.
Thats the best game Chicago has played all year…especially Cutler and both their O and D lines.

    Ouch

Stepped outside tonight in LaCrosse. Could here the faint coming from across the river….

Looks like the Vikes are gonna have to play on wild card weekend with a Philly win over the Cowboys against those same Cowboys. That otta be one for the ages. Two teams that forget how to win when children start writing letters to Santa in December

Childress should get out of Favre’s way. He needs to put his ego aside and allow Favre to lead them home.

Anything short of that and we’ll go nowhere. Fast.

Offensively in the first half we were so predictable. Run, Run, Pass, Punt. Run, Run, Pass, Punt. I understand that we need to establish the run again but not on 1st and 2nd down when Chicago has 8 guys up on the line of scrimmage. However, I do give the offense credit for opening if up during the second half.

Special teams were horrible. The defense also gave up too many yards tonight and points. We miss EJ big time and we also missed Pat Williams tonight too.

Let’s hope the Eagles lay an egg in Dallas and we come back with a win against the Giants.

Why should he? He is running the team, calling the shots. I am sure he’ll have a say in who they draft and trade for. All the things he wanted in GB but could never have with TT and MM. Zigy knows a cash cow when he see’s one and has already welcomed him back for next year

I was surprised that they didn’t go for the two point conversion after botching that one.

What a game. If only the 5th and 6th string Chicago DBs could catch, the game would have ended on a Favre INT instead of an AP fumble. Nice D against a horrible Bears offense with 2 of their 3 top WRs out of the game. Looks like the Queens are playing themselves right into hosting Dallas on wildcard weekend.

    that was crazy!

I wouldn’t say that was the best game the Bears played all year, but considering the last several games it must have seemed like it. Where was Tommy Harris all season? By far his best game this year…

Once again our Bears show they can rise to the occasion when it no longer matters… we had better shake some things up on the sidelines during the off-season.

Best of luck to our NFC North representive(s) in the playoffs!

I’m not sure any one thing killed the queens, no points in the first half didn’t help, AP was disappointing, Farve was lackluster in the first half, and the defense giving up points to a 5-9 team didn’t help.

Considering the Bears weren’t suppose to have a very good team overall, I think the queens just played poorly, during the OT the Bears defense owned the queens.

Was a fun game to watch though.

I’m sure milf will get his stadium and all will be right then….

It was not coaching errors it was players.
Favre got lucky not two have a couple of INT’s
Maybe he will make up for it Sunday Before Chilly pulls him so the old boy can get some rest before the Playoffs

Vikings are showing they can B beat and the NY Giants R coming to town and I think they would like to show that they R not as bad they looked on Sunday.
