This week is the final week of the NFL regular season. Philly plays in Dallas, and Green Bay plays in Arizona. If Dallas wins, the wild card games will be Philly in Dallas, and Green Bay in Arizona.

What are the odds of two different games being repeated 2 weeks in a row?

same with Bengals and Jets……if the Jets beat Cincy this week they are IN the playoffs, and would also face them first round I believe.

This has happened 5 times since the merger. Only 1 team has won back to back games, Raiders in 93. The rest split.

I thought I heard the Packers could still end up with the 6th seed. Is that not correct? Boy, if Arizona and GB don’t have anything to play for, their best bet is to just run the ball every down and try not to show anything for the following week. That sure makes for a boring game. The Philly/Dallas game will be a good one. It might be a little interesting if the Queens need to win next week against the Giants (I’m assuming they will whip the Bears tonight). I wonder if the Giants will show up or just pack it in seeing as they didn’t do much when they still had an opportunity to get into the playoffs.

Not at all. Most Packer fans I know can’t wait to get another shot at Brent Farve.

Well no kidding! I couldn’t wait to get a THIRD shot too after get embarrassed in the first two games. I was just wondering if there are any honest Packer fans out there.

After the way the Vikings completely dominated 120 minutes of football vs the Slackers, I doubt they want to come back to the dome.

Not I… the Pack is the last team I want to face considering they are playing a lot better than we are right now.

Bring on the Vikings, I think you will see a different D and a different O. Would love to watch old Favre cry at the podium after the game….

After thinking about it for a minute.. I doubt the Pack will get out of the first round anyways. Ol’ wet ears will most likely crumble..

I always think it’s tough to beat a team 3 times in one year. However, I like our odds at home. I’d love to see the NFC championship game of Vikes vs. Pack at the dumper dome!! But, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. WE have two more wins to rack up for that to happen and a Carolina arse kicking to the saints!! I need a puff, puff pass icon.

This was 1st said by a coach during the 4 team playoff format and became part of “football lore”. The truth is, it is rare that a team gets the opportunity to beat a team for the 4th time. If both teams are good enough for the playoffs, usually they split during the regular season.

The truth is, in 15 3rd chance for a win match ups, the 2-0 team is 12-3. So, it is hard to get to that game, it isnt hard to win it.

1982 Miami beat the Jets 3 times
1983 Seattle swept the Raiders in the regular season, lost in the playoffs
1986 Giants beat Washington 3 times
1989 Steelers beat Houston 3 times
1991 KC beat the Raiders 3 times
1992 KC swept SD in the regular season, lost in the playoffs
1993 Raiders beat Denver 3 times
1994 Steelers beat Cleveland 3 times
1994 Vikes swept Chicago in the regular season, lost in the playoffs
1997 GB beat TB 3 times
1997 NE beat Miami 3 times
1999 Tennessee beat Jax 3 times
2000 Giants beat Philly 3 times
2002 Steelers beat Cleveland 3 times
2004 Rams beat Seattle 3 times

I happen to remember in 2004 when the Packers beat the queens 2 times during the regular season. Then I got to watch Moss come to Lambeau field and moon us.

The only way for the Packers to get redemption against the queens this year would be to go into the roller dome (sorry Sandbar) and knock their butts out of the playoffs.

I’d even give my left one to see ARog return the moon in the dome.

I was at that game! We bought 4 tickets (all together) 7 rows up from the 45 yard line and only paid $20 per ticket over face value. I always heard that it was so hard to get tickets into Lambeau.

And I gave my ticket that I got from my college roommate at face value to my brother and then bought a nose bleed ticket from a scalper for $200.00 to watch that sorry excuse of a game.

I was the only Viking fan out of 4 of us and needless to say I was the only one smiling. This lady behind me was furious and at one time told me if I cheered one more time for the Vikings that she was going to throw her beer on me.

I replied… “I’m OK if you want to waste your $8 beer on me, but please… please…. promise me that you won’t sit on me!” Her embarrassed husband actually laughed at that one!

I was also at this game, the queens came in hot with a wildcard birth, my tickets were bought at face before the schedule came out and when it did I said oh no! At least the fans are honest and don’t rip you a new one when you travel to the promised land. I feel kind of cheated when watching a game live at the dump dome and getting discounted or free tickets.

Hardly……..I also would give my “left one” to see Beer Fart get it handed to him. Not only by the Pack, but by just about any team in the NFC..AFC..NCAA..High School..Little Sisters of the Poor…………

And don’t come back with that lame, “Yeah, the Pack couldn’t do it so Packer fans have to hope someone else does it”. Beer Fart has become the “Terrell Owens” of QBs in the NFL.

Sorry you are so bitter. I will cheer for my team and you can cheer for yours.. Once you begin spending more energy hoping another team loses, something is wrong.. And that appears to be the case here. GO Vikes
