We lost all of our good ice on the lake with all that rain the past few days, and today we already have 8 inches of snow on the ground. My wife is working today, so I decided to barbeque some rabbits and two pheasants my neighbor gave me. I also found a few frog legs to throw in as well.
I made a homemade sauce and poured it over the meat in the dutch oven. I’ve had it in the oven at 170, since about 10am. It’s all braising up nicely. I’ll pour off the liquid about 5pm and thicken it back up on the stove.
I wish I was fishing, but this isn’t a bad plan B.
